With gratitude and humility, the Miller Art Museum acknowledges the original peoples and primary caretakers of Northeastern Wisconsin from time immemorial including the Potawatomi, Menominee, Ho Chunk, Odawa, Ojibwe, Petun, Huron, and Sauk peoples. The land we stand on today is part of the ancestral and historical homelands of each of these Nations.

We pay respect to these roots and connections; the traditional knowledge and the creative contributions still present and vital today.

We appreciate those who came before us and commit to partnering with, and learning from, First Nations today and into the future.
